Should I Have My Penis Pierced

(Links may contain nudity.)

My wife and the tattoo artist that was working on her back both decided to take a smoke break. While I waited for them to come back in, I looked at the prices of different piercings they offered. I wanted to shock my wife with feigned interest in a body piercing for a man’s genitals. I walked outside where she was finishing up her cigarette and said, “A Prince Albert is only 100 bucks.” Instead of getting the shocked expression I was expecting, she looked both excited and intrigued. She then asked me if I was going to get one. Well, I would do just about anything to turn my wife on, but I wasn’t sure about getting my junk pierced. Though I would enjoy the sexual benefits, I had to consider the pain factor, healing time, and health risks that went hand in hand with this type of procedure. Some of the health risks would be minimal since this shop is very clean and so am I.
I asked Kelly if she would like it if I got a piercing, and she said that she would. So when they went back inside to finish up her back, I got the attention of the piercer and asked her more about the different types of piercings. I was interested in what would stimulate my wife the most and would give us the least amount of problems. Jade (our piercer) told me the healing time for most genital piercings could be from four to eight weeks with no intercourse, four to six months to be completely healed. She also informed me of possible health risks involved with such an endeavor such as: infections, allergies, nerve damage, keloids, rejection, and desensitization. Jade made sure I knew what I was getting myself into with no surprises. I truly appreciated that.
Kelly soon joined me in the piercing room where I was perusing the pictures and reading material offered on each type. Chico (the tattoo artist) told us he had been pierced with two types, first was a Jacob’s Ladder ( a series of rings or barbells on the underneath of the penis looking like the rungs of a ladder) then some time after that he was pierced again with a Dydoe. (A curved barbell passing through the ridge of the penis glans centered on the head of the penis) He then went on to offer that he and his spouse enjoyed the Dydoe so much that if he had gotten it first he would not have gotten the ladder. Hearing his testimony and the fact that the Dydoe looked less obtrusive than all of the others sold me and Kelly on the Dydoe. Jade then explained to us that since she would have to pierce me freehand and that the ridge around the helmet where the piercing needle exits is muscle that is tough like cartilage, it is considered the most painful penis piercing. Awesome!

I Had My Penis Pierced!

Last weekend, when Kelly told me she was going back in to get more work done on her back, I told her I would get the piercing done also. I can’t remember the last time I was this nervous. I grabbed a couple of pain away packets from the first aid box, but before I could take them Kelly told me that I couldn’t use them before the procedure due to excessive bleeding. That was not welcomed information I was hoping to have a little something in my system to take the edge off. After arriving at the tattoo parlor we found out that Chico was busy drawing up something for a customer and wouldn’t be able to help us for a few minutes. So Kelly suggested I go first. I figured there was no time like the present and that I wasn’t going to be any more prepared than I already was which would have been safe to say I wasn’t at all.
After Jade (our piercer) covered the dentist style chair with paper from a role attached to the back she instructed me to drop my pants and boxers then sit down. I looked up at Kelly standing next to me and she looked as nervous as I felt. She was being very brave forcing herself to watch. I was well past nervous at this time breaking through to scared. I sat there feeling exposed naked from the waist down with this woman wearing surgical gloves moving my manhood around looking at it from every angle. Jade then took a magic marker and put two little dots on me illustrating the entry and exit points of the wickedly sharp large needle.
Apparently I wasn’t the only one feeling the effects of fear, because my little soldier was trying, to no avail, to shrink out of sight. Jade gripped me between her forefinger and thumb and positioned tip of her cruel lance at the entrance point. I was informed again that since she was going to have to do this free hand with no help from tools it may not go as quickly as other piercings would. At that time, she asked me if I was ready. Gripping the edges of the seat with both hands and I said “Yep” through clinched teeth. The pain was sharp and intense when I felt the needle puncture the first layer of flesh. She wasn’t able to exit through the tough muscle at the ridge of my glan with the same motion used to stab into me. Jade repositioned her grip on the needle then announced that the tricky part was coming a millisecond before I was overcome with a white hot pain that shot through my entire body like I was struck by lightning. I am 38 years old and thought I had experienced pain, but this was the single most painful experience of my life that I can recall.
I felt the POP of the needle cutting its way through me. Kelly comforted me saying the needle was through, but I knew the jewelry still had to be pulled through. At this point I was throbbing painfully and every little movement hurt. She pulled the barbell through my new hole shooting another though slightly lesser jolt of pain through me. I was frozen at this point not wanting to move until I knew Jade was completely finished. She informed me that all she had left to do was put the ball on the end of the barbell. When she cinched it down, so that the balls would fall off, another blast of pain hit me. I was so glad when it was over. The process took about a minute but seemed much longer at the time. After about five minutes most of the pain subsided and I haven't really hurt much since. I think the Dydoe looks great and I can’t wait until my heal time is up so I can take it for a test run.

Military life

Enlisting in the service was one of the most important things I did. It was the most important thing I had done as a young man. My life was a mess at that time in my life. I was not an out of control teenager but I was pretty bad. I most certainly didn’t have any ideas about what I was going to do with myself after high school. I was slowly sailing through my life without a rudder.  I realize that there are many people that would do everything they could to convince their child not to enlist, but as a parent I would be proud if one of my children served their country. The Navy gave me purpose and taught me a skill I could make a career.
Basic training wasn’t too difficult, but is was lonely and strange being away from everyone I knew, for the first time in my life. I was lucky that before basic training was over Dessert Storm ended. At the time I was disappointed I wanted to be a part of the conflict, but that was just the thoughts of an ignorant young man. Many parents would give anything to spare their children from their self inflicted duty overseas. I was sent to aviation electrician school in Millington Tennessee after boot camp. From there I was sent to California to learn how to work on the CH 46 SeaKnights.
I’m sure many parents are nervous about their kids losing their identity if they join. I was not one of those. I made several close friends and learned a lot. I believe that, as with most things in life, you get out of the military what you put into it. If you work hard and study your rate (profession) you will most likely advance in your career, gaining higher income and more respect. There are not many other career choices a young person can make that gives them an opportunity to retire with half of your base pay at age 38.
I didn’t take advantage of the retirement because I was still young and misguided. It is hard to say that I wish I didn’t leave the Navy when I did because I love my life the way it is now, but how nice would it be if I had stayed in and retired this year. Oh well I can’t live in the past. If I do have a child that joins, I will do my best to help them choose a career path they will enjoy and to encourage them to try and retire from the military service.
I do realize that you can’t force anyone to make that hard choice because it does take a certain kind of person to make a full career in the military. It just isn’t for everyone. I was only in active duty for four years but the time I spent enlisted was awesome. I made friends that I still think about today. I can’t remember any other job I felt so united with my fellow workers. I wasn’t what you would call a successful student or athlete, so I didn’t have much to offer my parents. My family was proud of me for the first time in my life when I left for basic.

Taking Kelly Out for Valentines
I planned on celebrating Valentines on Saturday the 12th since it was my only day off that week. Earlier that week, I ordered her something sheer and sexy to wear, and I hoped it would be delivered by Saturday. Kelly had to run some errands that morning. While she was away, I ran to Wal-Mart and bought her a dozen yellow roses (her favorite), a box of chocolates, and a card. I made our bed (that alone suprised her) and placed the cards, flowers, and chocolates on her pillow. I also picked up lunch so that I would have an excuse for going to Wal-Mart and so that everyone would be fed giving her time to shower and get ready for the evening.
As I fed the kids she found her gifts. She was so happy. I told her that we were going to Joplin for the evening, and for her to decide what she wanted to do. While I showered she thought about it. Kelly decided she wanted to have the tattoo on her back redone and her nose pierced. While I dressed and groomed myself, she asked me if it would be ok to have those things done. She was very excited, when I agreed that she had waited long enough, since she had wanted to do both for a few years. We made plans for her brother and his girlfriend to watch the kids for half the day and all of the evening. They graciously agreed.
Before we left Carthage she called a tattoo shop and they said to come on in that they had an opening, well, when we got there they were booked up for a week. I don’t know what that guy was thinking. When I heard him say that, I was sad for her because she was so looking forward to this. We drove down Main Street and stopped at all of the tattoo shops until we found one that could fit us in within the hour. It was going to cost a bit more but the place looked nicer and they were more friendly but most importantly, they could get us in.
They retooled the color portion of her butterfly and decided she would come back for the black outlines and some additional ink in a week or two. I also decided I would get a special piercing when we came back. I think that the tattoo artist did a great job on my wife’s back and the tiny blue stud in her nose is sexy. We went to Turtle Heads for dinner and drinks after. Saturday nights they have all you can eat crab legs and a live band. Even though I had to wait for almost an hour for my first basket of legs they were well worth it. We also played darts while we were there like usual. We played about five games of cricket before coming home.
Before leaving the house for our adventure that afternoon, Kelly checked the mail and her lacey gown had arrived. Needless to say I had a wonderful Valentines’ weekend. It is difficult raising four children, which makes moments of romance with your spouse a true treasure. I would not be surprised if the smile Kelly put on my face that weekend is still there by next Valentine’s day. I just hope she had as great a time as I did.

Cat person or Dog person and Why

Cat Person or Dog Person and Why?
Some of us are dog lovers others of us love the felines more. A few people would consider themselves lovers of both cats and dogs. I would consider someone who has both cats and dogs a dog person unless the dogs they have are strictly outside animals and only the cats are indoors. Let’s just say that I am a dog person, someone who loves dogs more than cats. Why do I love dogs more than cats? How do dog people differ from cat people? What does that say about me as a person? I intend to answer these entire questions to the best of my ability. Here we go.
I love dogs more that cats because when I want to play with my pet I want to do it when I’m ready not to wait for the cat to decide when it is play time. I run my house. I am the alpha, regardless of what my wife says. If the dog owner clearly maintains dominance, the dog will happily find its place in the pack. Dogs want to please their owners, and if the owner comes across as needing to be led the dog will take position as alpha regardless of the size of the animal. If a dog gets plenty of exercise and is made to understand what is expected of it as a pack member such as: going outside to potty, staying off the furniture, and not to beg for food, it will do so for the most part (slip ups can happen). My cats on the other think they are kings of the castle and I am their lucky servant.
Cat people differ in character from dog people just as cats differ from dogs. Ask anyone “Are you a dog person or a cat person?” and they will answer without hesitation. People know this about themselves as sure as they know their own name. There are clear differences between cat people and dog people. According to a study called the Gosling-Potter Internet Personality Project, which question 4500 people, “Dog people tend to more social and outgoing and cat people tend to be more neurotic and creative and thoughtful.” A study done by Stanley Cornen Ph.D. found that cat owners are one third more likely to live alone and in an apartment and dog owners are more likely to married living in house with children.
I am a dog person. What does that say about me? Well let us see if I fit the mold. I have four dogs and two cats. I am very social and enjoy spending time with groups of people. I also like to work in a group effort at work. The fact that I am living in a house with my wife and children also places me in the dog person category. There are those people who feel that they are both cat and dog people since they own both animals. I feel strongly though, that even if you own both you lean one way or the other.

So Ugly She is Cute

So Ugly She is Cute
I got her about five or so years ago. I really don’t remember. She was so tiny that I could fit her in my coat pocket. My wife at the time had said she wanted a little lap dog to keep her company while I worked, so when a friend asked me if I wanted a free pugapoo (a pug toy poodle mix) puppy I quickly said yes. Patty and I were going through marital problems and I thought this might be a chance to get on her good side.  Apparently his two young sons were treating the poor animal like she was a stuffed toy by tossing her around the room. Worried about the safety of the small puppy he set out to find her a new home which took him about three hours. When he handed the little black ball of fur over to my wife the puppy just shivered with fear in her hands. Patty’s eyes lit up she was so excited about getting this puppy.
As we were thinking up names for our new addition to the family during the drive home, the little dog crawled from her lap to mine then up my chest, like a fury black spider, to curl up on my shoulder in the crook of my neck. This became one of her favorite places to sleep when she was still that small. After seeing her climbing skills I decided to name her Bitsy, short for Itsy Bitsy Spider.
I went to Wal-Mart and purchased Bitsy a little soft dog bed with a brown pillow sewn into it later that day. On the way back home I wondered how I was going to get her to realize that this bed was hers and for her to sleep in it. Well soon I would find out that I didn’t have anything to worry about because as soon as Bitsy saw the little bed she climbed into it and curled up to take a nap. I was so surprised about how easy that went. As she grew older she would drag that bed into whatever room we were in so that she could lay down near us.
Crocheting was Patty’s favorite hobby and she did it all the time, so when Bitsy got big enough to jump onto the couch by herself Patty was continually chasing her off her lap so that the dog wouldn’t get tangled up in what she was working on at the time. Because of that, I became the lap of choice for our little black dog. Petting her soft fur relaxed me after a hard day’s work and she loved the attention, so we were both happy. Patty came to resent the attention I received from “her” dog. So when she moved out she told me to keep Bitsy because she was more my dog than hers anyway.
I’m glad that Patty decided to give me bitsy because I don’t think I would have let her take my new little friend without a fight. Without Patty around to run her off the bed, she started sleeping beside me at night. I was fine with that since I was used to sleeping beside someone for the last twelve years. My buddy asked me the other day if I still had that little black dog, I said that I did. He went on to tell me it was a good thing I rescued her from his kids and that I probably saved the puppy's life. I think that is funny because I think I would have gone crazy during the months leading up to and during the split up if it weren’t for Bitsy.

His Name is Dylan

He loves to eat, but  bananas are his favorite food.  My son sits in his high chair picking out his favorite morsels of food and tossing the rest over the side of the tray so that he can watch the dogs race each other for a taste of supper. As Dylan eats, he rubs his meal all over his head. Dinner time is always entertaining with Dylan.
This young boy is about thirty pounds of non-stop trouble with blue eyes. He runs non-stop exploring the world one cupboard or cell phone at a time. I love watching him searching and testing his boundaries with his loving mother right on his heels.
Now it’s bath time. I fill the tub carefully, making sure that the temperature will be comfortable for my little angel. I remove his soiled clothing caked with his most recent meal. I’m not sure who gets wetter during this my son or me.  He is such a good boy I only have to tell him to sit down a couple dozen times. He recently learned to say bubble it is very cute watching him show me the bubbles in his hand and recite his new word.
He is the sweetest child, giving smiles and hugs that just melt me. Each day I come home from work he just laughs and raises his arms to the sky opening and closing his little fists so that I will pick him up and hold him.  I just can’t get enough of kissing his round little head with it soft silky hair.
His favorite games are peek-a-boo, hide and seek, tag, and take toys away from your sister (his own creation). He also loves to dance every time he hears music he nods his head to the beat or dances. The family got a WII for Christmas with a dancing game. Whenever someone plays the game, no matter what room he is in he drops what he is doing and tries to get to the game as soon as he hears the first song.
He is quite bright. He could sign please, more, thank-you and your welcome, before he could even speak the words. Now he does both just to get his point across. He knows how to turn on and off the dvd. I’ve even received voice messages from him on my cell phone. He called me with his mother’s cell phone, and I know this because I am in the background taking the phone away from him.
He has a few qualities we would like for him to iron out of his persona such as: hitting, biting, pulling the dogs ears, choking the cat, and screaming his piercing eardrum bursting scream. No one is perfect but he is darn close. You can call me partial if you like.
We have high hopes for this young boy. I say he will be a UFC champion, but his mother says he will be a dancer. I say he will go to college at Oklahoma University, but his mother says he will be going to University of Southern California. We both agree he will be the class clown since he will do anything to get someone to laugh, like balancing a plate of spaghetti on his head (food side down of course).  We also agree that he will be an adorable flirt, after all he already is one.
